The NOVA flat wash brush is Davinci's finest golden synthetic for watercolor, This brush features small ridges along the filament to hold more water and color than the glass-smooth fibers of other golden synthetics. Additionaly, NOVA brushes are constructed with 3 different thickness of fiber to further aid its fluid-holding capacity, The filament is specially shaped and tapered to suit the specific nature of synthetic rather than natural hair, With great spring, and a sharp painting edge the NOVA flat wash can cover large areas yet offer precision for crisp, detailed edges, As will all NOVA brushes, this one is set in a seemless and rust-resistant nickel-plated brass ferrules. The short perspex handle has an angular end for scraping off paint. Although particularly suited for watercolor, this high-quality, durable brush is excellent for all painting mediums.
